My Childhood, Destroyed

I used to come here every summer as a kid. It was not anything spectacular, but I grew up with it. Finally one day, they gave up on the old amusement park, and it died. And a piece of me died when I saw this as it was.
The building that you see used to be the fun house, which, many many many years before that used to be one of those big wheels in the floor that spins, you would slide down the center and be shot accross the floor. I don't remember what they actually called it, seeing as they were popular during the Victorian era. I experienced this in the 80's, early to mid 90-s. The fun house was built over the old amusement ride. It was always kind of creepy. But this is something I hold close to me like a Jem doll, or glo-worms. Always classic.
